WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) participated in a fireside chat during the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute’s National Security Innovation Base (NSIB) Summit. Young joined Congressman Adam Smith (D-WA-9), Ranking Member on the House Armed Services Committee, in a discussion moderated by Joe Gould, a defense reporter for Politico.

During the event, Senator Young discussed the implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act, how private sector innovation can benefit our national security, and the positive benefits of Artificial Intelligence for America’s defense.
