Visiting Washington, D.C. is an exciting and educational experience. My staff can also serve as a resource in booking tours for your trip. Please fill out ourĀ online tour request form if you’re interested in participating in any of the following tours.

The White House

The White House provides visitors access to sections of the East Wing and residence. We can request tours on behalf of constituents most Tuesdays through Saturdays at least three weeks in advance. We ask that you please submit your tour request to my office about three months before your desired tour dates. Once our office submits your request to the White House, you will receive a follow up email with instructions to register your party. After your initial registration, no additions nor changes can be made, so please make sure all of your information is correct.Ā The White House will send both you and my office an email either confirming or denying your tour exactly two weeks prior to your last requested tour date.Ā 

The Capitol

Congressional tours are generally available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visitors have the opportunity to visit the Rotunda, National Statuary Hall, the Old Supreme Court Chamber, the Crypt, the Old Senate Chamber, and the Capitol Visitors Center. We ask that you please request your tour at least one month in advance, but are happy to be flexible if necessary.

The Library of Congress

The Library of Congress tour is an hour-long, fully accessible self-guided tour of the historic Thomas Jefferson Building where your group will learn about the Building’s symbolic art and architecture as well as its history, its collections, and the services provided to Congress and the nation.Ā 

Timed entry passes are available for groups of up to 20 people and can be booked on the Library of Congress’ website, up to 30 days in advance. There are also a limited amount of number of same-day passes that are released at 9 am EST. The Library is open to visitors with timed-entry passes Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, with the last available entry time at 4:30 pm. The Library is closed on Sundays, Mondays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Supreme Court

When the Court is in session, all scheduled oral arguments will be heard in the Courtroom. Oral arguments have limited seating available to the public. The Supreme Court is not open to the public when it is in session and oral arguments are not being heard. When the Court is out of session, the building is open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Supreme Court is closed on federal holidays. You can refer to theĀ Supreme Court’s websiteĀ for information regarding courtroom lectures, court-related exhibitions, and building highlights.

FBI Experience

The FBI Experience is a self-guided tour at the FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The tour is open to the public and is offered free of charge. It features interactive multimedia exhibits, content and artifacts that highlight the important work the Bureau has done to protect our nation. My office is able to assist in scheduling tours of the FBI Headquarters. We ask that you submit your tour request no later than 4 weeks prior to your requested dates but no earlier than 5 months in advance. After your initial request, we may follow up for more information to complete the request.Ā The FBI will follow up at least one week in advance of the requested date, either approving or denying your tour.

The Pentagon

The Department of Defense (DoD) offers an hour-long, guided tour of the Pentagon, the DoDā€™s headquarters. The tour is open to the public and is free of charge. Reservations to book a Pentagon tour may only be submitted from 14 to 90 days in advance on the Pentagon’s reservation page. After the initial tour request is submitted, each adult group member will immediately receive an email to register as a Pentagon Visitor. All adult members of the group must complete this Pentagon Visitor registration form in order to be considered for a Pentagon tour. You can refer to the Pentagon’s tour website for more information.

TheĀ BureauĀ ofĀ EngravingĀ and Printing

TheĀ BureauĀ ofĀ EngravingĀ and PrintingĀ offers tours through ourĀ office year-round Monday through Friday at 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM with the exceptionĀ ofĀ federal holidays and theĀ daysĀ between Christmas and New Yearā€™s Day. Please submit your tour request at least 14 business days in advanceĀ ofĀ your requested tour date. Once we receive your tour request form, myĀ office will submit the request to theĀ BureauĀ ofĀ EngravingĀ and Printing and will follow up with you directly.
