Young Video Highlights Indiana Interns

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) today released a new video featuring Indiana students who participated in his internship program in Washington, D.C. this summer. The video features interns discussing their experience and encourages students to apply for internship opportunities.  

“Over the course of this internship, each of you have been serving the people of Indiana,” Senator Young says in the video. “Whether it’s through an internship with a U.S. Senator, by helping out in your local community, or running for office yourselves one day – you all have the opportunity to give back, and I actually think we have a duty, an obligation in this country to do so.” 

Students featured in the video include:  

• Caleb Dickey from Crawfordsville, student at Wabash College
• Cole Hawkins from Bloomington, student at Indiana University 
• Jacob Troxell from Anderson, graduate student at Ball State University 
• Jared Woodward from Zionsville, student at Wabash College
• Jordan LaBelle from Fort Wayne, student at Purdue University 
• Josh David from Dyer, student at Purdue University 
• Matt Buck from Michigan, student at Indiana University Law School 
• Patrick McAuley from Indianapolis, student at Wabash College
• Stephanie Rice from Greenwood, student at Ohio State University 
• Sydney Groves from Fishers, graduate of Indiana University 
• Yoel Bublick from Carmel, graduate of Indiana University 
• Zion Myers from Bedford, student at the University of Southern Indiana 

“If you’re somebody who’s looking to help out fellow Hoosiers in Indiana, give back to your community, and you want to participate in some meaningful work – I highly recommend going out for this type of internship with Senator Young’s office,” said Yoel Bublick of Carmel, a graduate of Indiana University. 

“This internship has really helped me get out and try new experiences … it has really helped me grow as a person,” said Jacob Troxell of Anderson, a graduate student at Ball State University.

“I really enjoyed this internship. It taught me so much about politics, about the legislative process, and really I met some great mentors here,” said Jordan LaBelle of Fort Wayne, a student at Purdue University.

“We had the opportunity to help introduce a bill on the Senate floor which is an incredible opportunity,” said Stephanie Rice of Greenwood, a student at Ohio State University.
