PHOTOS: Young Holds Agriculture Roundtable in Greenfield

WASHINGTON–Today, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) held a roundtable discussion with the Indiana Farm Bureau at Tuttle Orchards in Greenfield.

Senator Young was joined by Tuttle Orchards owners Ruth Ann and Mike Roney, Indiana Farm Bureau President Randy Kron, and local farmers. Tuttle Orchards is a fourth generation family farm that produces a wide variety of agriculture products including apples and vegetables. Issues discussed include infrastructure, regulatory reform, trade, conservation, and taxes.

“The agriculture industry is the backbone of Indiana’s economy, so it’s critical to hear from farmers like Ruth Ann and Mike Roney about the issues impacting their family business,” said Senator Young. “I’m grateful to both the Indiana Farm Bureau and Tuttle Orchards for helping to host today’s event, and I appreciate their input on how Congress can better serve the Hoosier farming community.”
