VIDEO: Young Discusses Critical Minerals at CSIS Event

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) delivered remarks during an event on Thursday hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) focused on the importance of critical minerals for our national, economic, and energy security. During the event, CSIS launched its new policy book titled “Critical Minerals and the Future of the of the U.S. Economy.”
“The Chinese Communist Party is aggressively attempting to monopolize critical minerals resources, and the United States urgently needs to diversify our supply chains and strengthen ties with allies,” Young said during the event.
Senator Young is leading efforts to strengthen America’s critical mineral independence, including introducing the STRATEGIC Minerals Act and the Critical Materials Future Act this Congress.
