Young Votes for Hoosier Priorities in Government Funding Bill
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) today voted in favor of the federal government funding bill that provides for critical government programs and Hoosier priorities for the remainder of fiscal year 2018. Senator Young issued the following statement regarding his vote:
“This funding bill contains a number of Hoosier priorities including resources to fight the opioid epidemic, secure our schools, invest in infrastructure, and strengthen our national defense. It also funds the largest pay raise for our troops in eight years, and provides record level funding for veterans programs. I will continue working to ensure Hoosiers have a strong voice in Washington advocating on their behalf when our nation’s spending priorities are determined.”
